Plot: In Machida, Tokyo, near future, the ground has sunk. While 'the Pit' has shown, all residents were murdered gorily by something evil, except Shindou Ranmaru. Five years later, Ranmaru becomes a police man for solution of this case. One day, Ranmaru is dispatched to Shibuya in order to put down the riot. But the riotous aren't human being but monsters came from 'the Pit'. Though Ranmaru is at a loss what to do, 'Tokko' (the abbreviated name for 'Tokushu kouanbu', or special public safety squad) get rid of monsters by swords.
