"Ring 2"

This film is the sequel of "Ring", and same actors and actresses play the same roles of "Ring". But we know that there was "Rasen" as the continuation of "Ring" already. Though "Ring 2" is related to "Ring", it isn't related to "Rasen".In a word, "Ring 2" world is a parallel world to "Rasen". "Ring 2" is very scary for people in general. But it is very funny for the mania for SF/HORROR films.For example, there is a parody of "EXORCIST 2:THE HERETIC (1977)" or "The H-Man (Bijo to Ekitai ningen) (1958)" or Janapnese classic horror stories like YOTSUYA GHOST STORY and BAKENEKO (Cat woman monster). At the opening of this film, the coroner said the mystery of Sadako -she was dead in the well 2 years before but 30 years before-, but none try to solve this mystery. Though the scientist appears later, he try to prove his odd hypothesis that the spiritual power can be absorbed into the water. I guess Mr. Nakada a director and Mr. Takahashi a writer try to make the bizarre film.If so, they are successful! At least, I think this film fail as an orthodox horror film. But I like it so much!
