Makino Shouzou 1878-1929. He is called 'Father of Japanese Movies'. He released numerous movies, which monsters, samurais, ninjas appeared, at the dawn of Japanese movie's history. Though his movies was received with wild enthusiasm by most spectator, most critic attacked him that there are no theme in his movies. But Mr.Makino 's policy is: "First is story, second is contrast, third is action". Of course, he wanted to make entertainment movies.
