This category was built up by Hanmura Ryou (1933-2002) with his sci-fi novels, "Ishi no ketsumyaku" (1972), "Musubinoyama hiroku" (1973) and "Yousei-den" (1973-1995). Its subject is an unknown clan behind world history. They have unique talent, such as supernatunal power, telling a lie, or idiosyncrasy or secret mission for generations. Some are vampires or werwolves. Similar are John McTiernan's film "Nomads" and Russell Mulcahy's film "Highlander". In a sence it is Pseudohistory.
